BodyWorkCEUs: Ortho-Bionomy®
Take courses from local, national and international instructors in modalities that offer specialization in pain relief, lymphatic work and more.
Ortho-Bionomy® is an educational system developed by Arthur Lincoln Pauls, who organized the work into progressive phases. Phase 4 represents the point at which the modality was fully developed and ready to be taught, forming the foundation for Phases 5 through 8. As a stand-alone modality, Ortho-Bionomy® enables practitioners to apply gentle, non-invasive techniques that address chronic stress, injuries, and issues related to postural and structural imbalances. It emphasizes a subtle yet powerful shift—from “fixing” the client to supporting and facilitating the body’s own natural healing processes. Massage therapists and practitioners from a variety of bodywork disciplines can begin incorporating these techniques after completing a Phase 4 foundational class. These courses typically focus on the spine, extremities, pelvis, and trunk, and are often taught over one or two weekends. Not only are the techniques easy to integrate into an existing practice, but they are also exceptionally gentle on the practitioner. Many therapists find that Ortho-Bionomy® helps extend the longevity of their careers by reducing physical strain while enhancing therapeutic effectiveness. Students of Ortho-Bionomy® often choose to continue their journey by completing the full training program. To learn more about the different levels of training, please visit the official Ortho-Bionomy® website (The Society of Ortho-Bionomy Training Programs). In addition, Study Groups and Practice Groups are offered several times a month so that you can reinforce the concepts you've learned and used on clients, ask questions and receive valuable feedback. Your process in this program is supported by teachers, coordinators and fellow students right from the start. Become a Student Member of The Society of Ortho-Bionomy for just $30 and become eligible for discounts with participating instructors.
